EC Urn Installation
Everlasting Cross™ is truly honored that you have chosen the exclusive memorial that is also an Urn / Capsule, that encapsulates your loved one’s ashes or memorabilia. The exclusive and unique option of an Urn or Capsule gives you not only a memorial but a way to permanently preserve their ashes or precious memorabilia in an airtight Capsule by encapsulating within their Everlasting Cross™.
To ensure you will receive their Everlasting Cross™ memorial as an Urn Capsule. When choosing the end caps, you will then need to choose the Urn option at the same time.
When you receive their handcrafted Everlasting Cross™, the first of two sealing plugs will be already installed. Once you have placed their ashes or memorabilia inside the crosses vertical tube, you will be installing the second sealing plug on the vertical bottom end. (Detailed instructions will be enclosed with the Everlasting Cross.)
How their Everlasting Cross™ becomes an Urn. Place Ashes or Memorabilia in the vertical tube then follow steps below to permanently preserve.
-
Step 1
After placing your loved one’s ashes or memorabilia into vertical bottom end. NOTE: Leaving 6 to 8 inches from bottom opening for the installation of the cross. Place a towel on ground, then place the cross on it, to prevent scratches.
-
Step 2
Place the second sealed plug into the vertical bottom end and manually push down on the plug to start the position of the seal.
(Note: Narrow end in first.)
-
Step 3
Place wood dowel on top of the seal as center as possible. Make sure the cross is placed on the soft cloth, to prevent no damage to the finish of the end cap.
-
Step 4
Now begin to hammer the seal plug into place. Using a circular pattern, this will help the plug go in easier and evenly.
-
Step 5
Continue to hammer the seal plug into the cross until you have reached the pre marked line on the wood dowel. This will ensure you have reached either 6 or 8 inches.
-
Step 6
The Urn Capsule installation is now complete, and their ashes or memorabilia is preserved. Their Everlasting Cross™ is ready to be installed in its forever resting place.
